The Monrepos lakeside palace

This is the former hunting lodge of Duke Eberhard Ludwig which was expanded upon  Duke Carl Eugen unpleted during the reign of King Friedrich I of Wurttemberg. It is considered as a rococo masterpiece. Its interior is decorated in the style of the Napoleonic era. In summer, this is the place for romantic concerts like the big open-air concert with the baroque fireworks display form the Ludwigsburger Schlossfestspiele and chamber concerts of the "Gärtner-Duo".
